Workshop on Identifying Val-Jalbert’s Wild Flora
Val-Jalbert Wildflower Interpretation Workshop.
On August 13, venture off the beaten path with the biologist Fabien Girard.
To him, every boreal plant tells a story, whether it’s aromatic, medicinal, or edible.
During this exclusive “The Secret of Plants” activity, Fabien will share his discoveries and ingenuity with you. He’s not just a biologist by training—he’s the kind of person who finds himself pondering even the smallest twig. He has a curious mind that looks beyond appearances to be captivated by the hidden treasures of the boreal flora.
This is the perfect opportunity to learn how to identify the wild plants on our site and to understand how they inspire the creation of unique natural products.
