A Set That Comes Alive

In the fall, the Village is draped in a flamboyant cloak, where the red of the maple trees and the gold of the birches beautifully frame the power of the waterfall. The weather is perfect for your explorations, offering crisp, fresh air that’s just cool enough to walk comfortably without the summer heat. It’s the ideal time to bundle up lightly and savor the tranquility of the site under a unique golden light.

A wonderful visit to the Village. I loved walking through this ghost town and discovering its history all over again.

I loved the illuminated waterfall and the illuminated path along the landfill in the evening. It’s enchanting and magnificent. The cafeteria is a must-visit for me. The noodle salad, the tourtière, the brownies, and the turnip-parsnip soup are just incredible. You really have to try them.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful one-night stay in your beautiful village. We stayed one night in Room 111. We had two wonderful days. Everything was perfect. First of all, the people!! Whether at the front desk, on the grounds, at the restaurant, or during the activities, everyone was welcoming, passionate, and smiling. The room was very comfortable and very pretty—and what can I say about the meals!! Dinner at the Moulin restaurant was delicious, and the atmosphere was absolutely delightful. The music during dinner was wonderful—very relaxing. Lunch, of course, featured the classic Lac-style tourtière, which was so good!!! My mother, my sister, my daughter, my granddaughter, and I would like to thank you for the warm welcome and the wonderful time that the entire Village Val Jalbert team made possible for us. This wasn’t our first visit, and it certainly won’t be our last.
