Val-Jalbert Improv Nights: Make way for the “chouennes”!
When the legends of 1921 come to life before your eyes.
Imagine the summer of 1921. It’s a beautiful late afternoon in the village; the neighbors are gathering near the general store for a game of croquet… but the equipment has mysteriously disappeared! Never mind—there’s no way they’re going to let that ruin the evening. Since they can’t play, they decide to “tell each other some tall tales.”
To keep things from turning into a contest of lies, the vicar himself has to step in and act as the referee!
IImprovisation and music will set the tone for these festive evenings, where the team from Reliques de Val-Jalbert and the Autres Paroisses will face off in contests that are as captivating as they are entertaining.
Come cheer on our two teams of four players—proud veterans of a regional improv league—as they face off against our talented theater actors, all ready to do whatever it takes to come up with the best story based on the village’s rumors, secrets, and gossip.
A unique, fun, and captivating activity—perfect for the whole family.
